Cost per pupil

Written by ONE Olentangy on .

The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) recently released district profile reports (also known as Cupp reports). Worth noting is that Olentangy’s cost per pupil has increased by just $133, from $9,465 in FY11 (the 2010-11 school year) to $9,598 in FY12 (the 2011-12 school year). Also, average teacher salary in the district has decreased from $63,783 to $63,051, a reduction of $732, during that same time period.

ONE Olentangy has compiled two sets of comparison data below. The first compares Olentangy’s cost per pupil to local districts. The second chart compares Olentangy’s cost per pupil to similar districts, as designated by ODE. All districts are rated either Excellent With Distinction, like Olentangy, or Excellent.
